Students from K/1/2 created beautiful artworks inspired by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and his love for lines and colour.
The children painted layered lines of colour, scratching designs into the still wet paint with cut cardboard letting the base colour peek through. From these painted paper backgrounds the children created paper lollipop trees which were then arranged and made into a collage.
Through a discussion in class wondering "what it would be like to be in my own painting" a digital artwork idea was planned. K/1/2 students posed for photographs which were then placed digitally onto their scanned artwork using Adobe Photoshop Elements.
